For instance; if you plan on primarily using RV parks, you can pretty much forget about anything resembling privacy. In case you haven’t noticed, RV parks tend to pack campers in like sardines. That might work fine for some but certainly not for everyone. For someone who treasures their own space with peace and quiet; let’s just say that the honeymoon period could end up being a very short one. On the other hand, if you prefer life off of the beaten path then you must keep in mind that if you want it, you must bring it. Case in point; what do you do for power when you boondock? All RVs don’t come with a generator or a solar power system by default. Also, on that note you should be aware that generator use in most campgrounds is frowned upon at best. And even if the campground allows it, it is almost certain that your neighbors don’t prefer it. As long as you set your expectations appropriately and make suitable choices, you shouldn’t have too much trouble. Some other things to consider are; will you maintain residency in your current state or possibly set up residency in another state that has no state tax requirement? Research destinations, create a rough itinerary, and make a checklist of essential tasks such as mail forwarding, healthcare, and insurance.
